Biography
Chris Sullivan is an American actor and musician. Born on 19 July 1980 in Palm Springs, California, he trained in Chicago and gained early stage experience including improv at the iO Theater and Broadway roles in productions such as Lombardi and the revival of Chicago.
He first gained attention for his portrayal of Tom Cleary in the series The Knick (2014–2015). Sullivan played Taserface in the film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and starred as Toby Damon in the series This Is Us (2016–2022), receiving two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for the latter role. Other credits include Benny Hammond in Stranger Things (2016) and appearances in The Drop (2014) and Presence (2024).
