Biography
Christopher Crowe (born 1 August 1948) is an American screenwriter, producer and director. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin, and graduated from William Horlick High School in 1967.
He co-wrote the screenplay for The Last of the Mohicans (1992) with Michael Mann. Crowe has also written the screenplays for Nightmares (1983), The Mean Season (1985), Fear (1996) and an uncredited rewrite on The Bone Collector (1999). He wrote and directed Off Limits (1988) and Whispers in the Dark (1992). Early film work includes a story credit on The Last Chase (1981) under the name C.R. O'Christopher.
Crowe created the television series B.J. and the Bear, The Untouchables (1993–1994) and Seven Days, and served as executive producer on the 1985 revival of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
