Biography
Christopher Hibler (also credited as Chris Hibler) was an American television director. Born in Los Angeles in 1942, he began his career at Walt Disney Studios, where he worked for 18 years as an assistant director on feature films including Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) and as an associate producer on titles such as Gus (1976) and Hot Lead and Cold Feet (1978). He was the son of Disney Legend Winston Hibler.
Hibler later directed numerous episodes of American television series. His credits include 40 episodes of Matlock (1986–1995), 31 episodes of Diagnosis: Murder (1994–2001) and the 2002 TV movie Diagnosis Murder: Town Without Pity, ten episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 (1992–1999), episodes of Moonlighting (1985), Remington Steele (1982), Quantum Leap (1989), Weird Science (1994) and one episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). He died in Los Angeles in 2010.
