Biography
Burt Brinckerhoff is an American actor, director and producer. Born on 25 October 1936 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began his career as an actor and received a Tony Award nomination for his role in the Broadway production of Cactus Flower (1965–1968).
He later became a prolific television director. His credits include multiple episodes of Lou Grant (for which he received three consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations), Moonlighting (1985), Cagney & Lacey (1982), ALF, Remington Steele, Beverly Hills, 90210, Matlock and 7th Heaven, directing 27 episodes of the latter from 1996 to 2002. He retired in 2002.
