Biography
Claudie Blakley is an English actress. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 1997, and won the Ian Charleson Award in 1998 for her performance in The Seagull at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.
She is known for her role as Mabel Nesbitt in Robert Altman's Gosford Park (2001) and as Charlotte Lucas in Pride & Prejudice (2005). Other credits include Emma Timmins in the BBC series Lark Rise to Candleford (2008–2011), roles in Cranford (2007–2009) and Severance (2006), and voice work in The House (2022).
Her parents are musician Alan Blakley and actress Lin Blakley.
