Biography
Clive Mantle is an English actor. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after appearing in productions with the National Youth Theatre.
He is known for playing Little John in the fantasy series Robin of Sherwood (1984–1986) and general surgeon Mike Barratt in the BBC hospital dramas Casualty (1993–1996) and Holby City. He appeared as Simon Horton in The Vicar of Dibley (1998). Other television roles include Greatjon Umber in Game of Thrones (2011) and Dr Frankland in Sherlock (2012).
Mantle received an Olivier Award nomination for his performance as Lennie in Of Mice and Men.
