Biography
Con O'Neill (born Robert O'Neill) is an English actor. Born on 15 August 1966 in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, he began his career at Liverpool's Everyman Youth Theatre and became known for stage work in musicals.
He won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 1988 for his performance as Michael "Mickey" Johnstone in Blood Brothers; the Broadway transfer in 1993 brought Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominations. On screen he has appeared in Chernobyl (2019) as Viktor Bryukhanov, The Batman (2022) and The Penguin (2024) as Chief Mackenzie Bock, Our Flag Means Death (2022) as Izzy Hands, and Legends (2026) as Arthur Goodwin.
