Biography
Damien Thomas was a British actor. Born Damien Roy Charles Noel Court-Thomas on 11 April 1942 in Ismailia, Egypt, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after studying art, graduating in 1966.
He appeared in numerous British films and television productions from the late 1960s onwards. His credits include the role of Father Alvito in the miniseries Shōgun (1980), Michael Samuels in House of Cards (1990), Zaid in The Message (1976), Kassim in Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977), a doctor in Never Let Me Go (2010) and Kill List (2011), and Salomon Weil in The Limehouse Golem (2016). He also featured in series such as Agatha Christie's Poirot and Sherlock Holmes.
Thomas died on 18 April 2025.
