Biography
Danny McCarthy is an American actor born on 9 February 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri. He is best known for his role as Special Agent Danny Hale in the Fox series Prison Break (2005–2006).
His film credits include Stuart in The Exorcist: Believer (2023), Curly Joe's Brother in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018), and supporting parts in Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011), The Drop (2014), Stronger (2017) and Good One (2024). On television he has appeared in Somebody Somewhere, Elsbeth, Chicago P.D. and Elementary.
McCarthy has an extensive stage career as an ensemble member of A Red Orchid Theatre in Chicago and has performed on Broadway in The Minutes, Aaron Sorkin's To Kill a Mockingbird and The Iceman Cometh.
