Biography
Darlene Love, also credited as Darlene Wright, is an American singer and actress. She began her career as lead singer with the vocal group The Blossoms in the late 1950s. The group provided backing vocals on numerous recordings, including work with Elvis Presley, and recorded the number one hit "He's a Rebel" (credited to The Crystals).
Love has appeared in films and on television, most notably as Trish Murtaugh, the wife of Danny Glover's character, in all four Lethal Weapon films (1987–1998). She has also acted in New Girl (2011), Holiday Rush (2019) and The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two (2020). Her stage work includes Broadway productions such as Leader of the Pack and Hairspray.
