Biography
David McCoy Barrett is an American television director and producer. He began his career as a stuntman before working as a stunt coordinator and second unit director.
Barrett co-created the CW series The Mountain (2004). He has directed episodes of numerous series including Veronica Mars (2004), Smallville (2001), Supernatural (2005), The Mentalist (2008), The Vampire Diaries (2009), Castle (2009), Arrow (2012), Once Upon a Time (2011), Under the Dome (2013) and Fear the Walking Dead (2015). He directed the feature film Fire with Fire (2012) and has had a long association with Blue Bloods (2010) as director and co-executive producer.
