Biography
Dávid Jancsó is a Hungarian film editor. He was born on 2 July 1982 in Budapest and is the son of director Miklós Jancsó and editor Zsuzsa Csákány. He trained at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest.
Jancsó has edited features including White God (2014), The Childhood of a Leader (2015), Pieces of a Woman (2020), The World to Come (2020), Monkey Man (2024, co-editor) and The Brutalist (2024). He has collaborated frequently with directors Kornél Mundruczó and Brady Corbet.
In 2025 he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for The Brutalist.
