Biography
David Matthews is an American writer and author. Born on 8 November 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland, he is the author of the memoir Ace of Spades (2007) and the non-fiction book Kicking Ass and Saving Souls (2011).
Matthews has written for several television series. His credits include episodes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011–2012), Boardwalk Empire (2013), Tyrant (2014), Narcos (2017), Vinyl (2016), Your Honor (2020), Them (2021) and Candy (2022). He has also worked as a producer on Them and other series.
