Biography
David Pearse is an Irish actor. He was born in Dublin and studied theatre at the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin.
He is known for film roles including the Priest in The Banshees of Inisherin (2022), Bartley in The Guard (2011) and Brian Maher in Grabbers (2012), as well as television appearances in Vikings (2013), The Last Kingdom (2015) and The Foreigner (2017).
Pearse has a background in theatre; he received an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Drama League of America nomination for his performance in The Cripple of Inishmaan in New York in 2009.
