Biography
Dawn Prestwich is an American television writer and producer. She attended the Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas, and Stanford University. She has frequently collaborated with writing partner Nicole Yorkin since the early 1990s.
Prestwich wrote for series including Chicago Hope (1994), Ally McBeal (1997), Carnivàle (2003), Battlestar Galactica (2005), The Riches (2007–2008), FlashForward (2009–2010) and The Killing (2011–2014). With Yorkin, she co-created The Education of Max Bickford (2001), for whose pilot they won a Writers Guild of America award in 2003, Z: The Beginning of Everything (2015) and Hit & Run (2021). She shared an Emmy nomination for outstanding drama series on Chicago Hope in 1997.
