Biography
Diane Venora is an American actress. She graduated from the Juilliard School in 1977 after studying at the Boston Conservatory and made her film debut opposite Albert Finney in Wolfen (1981).
She is known for her performance as Chan Parker in Bird (1988), for which she received the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress. Other film roles include Justine in Heat (1995), Gloria Capulet in Romeo + Juliet (1996), Major Valentina Koslova in The Jackal (1997) and Liane Wigand in The Insider (1999). She has also appeared in television series including Grey's Anatomy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
