Biography
Divian Ladwa is an English actor. His screen debut was in the 2007 micro-budget film Saxon, in which he played Rahim Begum. He has an extensive theatre background, having worked with companies including Tamasha Theatre Company and Fluxx Improvised Theatre early in his career.
Ladwa is known for playing Hugh in the BAFTA-winning BBC comedy series Detectorists (2014–2022). His other notable screen roles include Mantosh Brierley in the Oscar-nominated film Lion (2016), Uzman in Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), Dr Chillip in The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019), and Simon in Slow Horses (2022).
