Biography
Don Gordon (born Donald Walter Guadagno; 13 November 1926 – 24 April 2017) was an American film and television actor. He appeared in supporting roles in numerous films and series, often playing tough or desperate characters.
Gordon is noted for his collaborations with Steve McQueen, appearing alongside him in Bullitt (1968) as Lt. Delgetti, Papillon (1973) as Julot, and The Towering Inferno (1974) as Kappy. He also featured in episodes of McQueen's series Wanted: Dead or Alive. Other film credits include The Exorcist III (1990) and Lethal Weapon (1987). He received an Emmy nomination for his work on The Defenders in 1962.
Born in Los Angeles, Gordon wrote the screenplay for and starred in The Lollipop Cover (1965). He died in Los Angeles in 2017.
