Biography
Donnie Keshawarz is a Canadian-born American actor. Born on 30 July 1969 in Guelph, Ontario, to Afghan parents, he grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He holds a BA from Rutgers University and an MA from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, and studied acting under Herbert Berghof.
Keshawarz has worked in stage, film and television since 1987. He is known for recurring roles as Yusuf Auda in the series 24 (2003) and in The Sopranos, as well as guest appearances in Lost (2004), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Homeland and True Detective. Film credits include The Adjustment Bureau (2011), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Experimenter (2015) and Ad Astra (2019) as Captain Lawrence Tanner. He starred in the ABC series Forever (2014–2015).
