Biography
Earl Bellamy (1917–2003) was an American film and television director. He began his career at Columbia Studios as a messenger after graduating from Hollywood High School in 1935, advancing to assistant director on films including In a Lonely Place (1950) and From Here to Eternity (1953). He served in the US Navy's photographic unit during the Second World War.
Bellamy directed more than 1,600 television episodes across four decades. His credits include episodes of The Munsters (1964), Get Smart (1965), MASH (1972), Starsky & Hutch (1975), The Love Boat (1977) and V* (1984). He also directed feature films such as westerns and other genre pictures.
