Biography
Ed Solomon is an American screenwriter. He wrote the screenplays for No Sudden Move (2021) and The Christophers (2026), both directed by Steven Soderbergh.
Born on 15 September 1960 in Saratoga, California, Solomon studied economics at UCLA. While still a student he became a staff writer on the sitcom Laverne & Shirley, and later wrote for It's Garry Shandling's Show. With Chris Matheson he created and co-wrote the Bill & Ted films, beginning with Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989). His other credits include Men in Black (1997), Charlie's Angels (2000) and the Now You See Me films.
Solomon has collaborated repeatedly with Soderbergh, including on the series Mosaic and Full Circle.
