Biography

Edward Beyer was an American film editor and sound editor. He worked on numerous productions from the early 1960s to the late 1980s, with credits in both picture editing and sound.

His editing work includes A New Leaf (1971), Short Eyes (1977), Rich Kids (1979) and One-Trick Pony (1980). He also served as sound editor or supervising sound editor on films such as The Hustler (1961), Serpico (1973), Scarface (1983) and Rumble Fish (1983).

Beyer was born in New York City on 2 September 1933 and died in Los Angeles on 12 October 1997.
