Biography
Edward L. McDonnell is an American film and television producer. He began working in the industry in the 1980s as a production assistant after a brief period in investment banking, and later held roles at companies including Paramount, Witt/Thomas Films and Maple Shade Productions.
McDonnell produced Three Kings (1999). His other credits include Insomnia (2002), Catwoman (2004), Prisoners (2013) as executive producer, Sicario (2015) and Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018). He has also served as executive producer on series including Shōgun (2024), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award.
