Biography
Eleanor May Tomlinson is an English actress. Born in London on 19 May 1992, she moved with her family to Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire as a child and attended Beverley High School. Her father, Malcolm Tomlinson, is an actor, her mother Judith Hibbert is a singer and former actress, and her brother Ross Tomlinson is also an actor.
Tomlinson began acting as a child. Her early film roles include Young Sophie in The Illusionist (2006) and Jas in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (2008). She later appeared as Fiona Chattaway in Alice in Wonderland (2010), Princess Isabelle in Jack the Giant Slayer (2013), Adeline Ravoux in Loving Vincent (2017) and Georgie Raoul-Duval in Colette (2018). On television she played Mary Brighton in The Nevers (2021) and starred as Demelza Poldark in the BBC series Poldark (2015–2019).
