Biography
Elsa Pataky is a Spanish actress and model. She was born Elsa Lafuente Medianu on 18 July 1976 in Madrid and studied journalism at Universidad CEU San Pablo before beginning her career in acting.
She first gained prominence in Spain with the leading role of Raquel Alonso in the television series Al salir de Clase (1997–2002). Pataky achieved international recognition for her recurring role as Elena Neves in the Fast & Furious franchise, appearing in Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015) and The Fate of the Furious (2017). Other credits include Snakes on a Plane (2006), 12 Strong (2018) and Interceptor (2022).
In Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024) she played a dual role as the Vuvalini General and Mr Norton. Pataky has been married to actor Chris Hemsworth since 2010.
