Biography
Emer Conroy is an Irish television director. She began her career as a script supervisor, working for more than twenty-five years on film and television productions including Dorothy Mills (2008), Ordinary Decent Criminal (2000), Love/Hate (2010) and Sweetness in the Belly (2019).
As a director, Conroy has worked on series including Vikings: Valhalla (2022–), for which she directed four episodes and second-unit material, Harry Wild (2022–) and Outlander (2014–), directing the season finale of its eighth series. She directed five episodes of the first series of Outlander: Blood of My Blood (2025–) and further episodes of its second series, as well as the mini-series Paris Is Always a Good Idea (2026) and The Twelve Dates 'Til Christmas (2025).
