Biography

Michael O'Halloran, also credited as Mike O'Halloran, is a film and television editor. He began his career as a production associate on Star Trek: Voyager and later worked as assistant editor on all four seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise.

O'Halloran edited episodes of the reimagined Battlestar Galactica (2006–2009), including web series extensions, and received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2009 for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series for the episode 'Daybreak, Part II'. He has maintained a long collaboration with producer Ronald D. Moore.

He is known for his editing work on Outlander (2014–), where he has also served as supervising editor and producer, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (2014), For All Mankind (2019–2022), Terra Nova (2011) and Red Tails (2012).
