Biography

Jamie Payne is a British television and film director. His credits include episodes of the series Ashes to Ashes (2010), The Hour (2011–2012), Luther (2010 and 2019) and Doctor Who (2013, including the episodes Hide and The Time of the Doctor).

He has also directed episodes of Outlander, The Alienist, Invasion and New Amsterdam, as well as the film Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023). Payne received an award at the Geneva Film Festival for The Hour.
