Biography
Kate Cheeseman is a British television director. She has directed episodes of series including Call the Midwife (BBC), for which she served as lead director on episodes of series 9 and directed the series 8 finale; Outlander (Starz), as lead director on the first block of season 6; Doc Martin (ITV); and The Mallorca Files (Amazon Prime).
Earlier in her career she directed the BBC drama Pig Heart Boy (1999), for which she won the BAFTA Children's Drama award in 2000, as well as episodes of Casualty and The Bill. She is a BAFTA and RTS award-winning director and has also directed short films.
