Biography
Darcia Martin is a British television and film director. She began her career making documentaries for the BBC after graduating from Goldsmiths, University of London, before moving into scripted drama.
She has directed episodes of series including Call the Midwife (2015–2016), Father Brown (2020), Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators (2019), The Chelsea Detective (2022), Riches (2022) and Three Little Birds (2023). She also worked as second unit director on Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023). Her short film First (2018) was optioned in the United States.
