Biography
David Weddle is an American television writer and producer. He has written and produced episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1996–1999), The Twilight Zone (2002–2003), Battlestar Galactica (2004–2009), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2009–2011), Falling Skies (2011–2013), The Strain (2014–2017) and For All Mankind (2019–), usually in collaboration with writing partner Bradley Thompson.
Weddle graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he met Thompson. His 1994 biography If They Move... Kill 'Em!: The Life and Times of Sam Peckinpah led to work on Deep Space Nine. On the reimagined Battlestar Galactica, the pair served as story editors in the first season, rising to supervising producers by the fourth season.
