Biography
Endre Hules is a Hungarian-born actor, director and writer. He studied music and acting at the Cellar Theatre in Budapest and began writing plays, composing and directing there at the age of 17. He trained further with Jerzy Grotowski and Eugenio Barba, and graduated as a director from the National University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest.
After directing at the National Theatres of Pécs and Szeged, and for Hungarian television and radio, he moved to Paris and then New York, where he directed for the stage and taught. He later settled in Los Angeles, acting in dozens of films and television series while writing and producing shorts as an American Film Institute Producing Fellow. He wrote and directed the documentary Torn From the Flag.
His acting credits include Apollo 13 (1995) as Guenter Wendt, Angels & Demons (2009), The Killer (2023) as The Target, and television roles in For All Mankind (2021) and FBI: International (2021).
