Biography
Erica Edell Phillips is an American costume designer. She was born and raised in New York City, where she attended Hunter College of the City University of New York and studied film at the New School for Social Research. She began her career as a producer of a talk show on WOR Radio before moving to Los Angeles, where she worked as an assistant to designer Glenda Ganis.
Phillips has designed costumes for numerous films, including RoboCop (1987), Total Recall (1990), In the Line of Fire (1993), Outbreak (1995), Air Force One (1997), The Perfect Storm (2000) and Poseidon (2006). She received a Saturn Award nomination for RoboCop and won the award for Total Recall. Her television credits include several seasons of Charlie's Angels.
