Biography
François Dagenais is a Canadian cinematographer. He trained at Concordia University in Montreal and the AFI Conservatory, and has worked as a director of photography on feature films and television series since the late 1990s.
His credits include Cube Zero (2004), The Samaritan (2012), The Magicians (2015), Downsizing (2017, second unit), Project Blue Book (2019), Yellowjackets (2021), The Mysterious Benedict Society (2021), Smoke (2025) and Vladimir (2026). He has received nominations from the American Society of Cinematographers and the Canadian Screen Awards, and a Children's and Family Emmy Award nomination.
