Biography
Frank Passingham is a cinematographer who has worked primarily in stop-motion and computer animation. He served as director of photography on the Aardman Animations feature Chicken Run (2000), alongside Tristan Oliver, and on the television series Creature Comforts (2003–2006).
Passingham has also been director of photography on Flushed Away (2006), The Pirates! Band of Misfits (2012), Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022). Earlier in his career he worked as a key animator on The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb (1993). He directed the features The Magic Roundabout (2005) and Doogal (2006).
