Biography
Frank Prinzi is an American cinematographer and director. He earned a degree from New York University and has worked in film and television since the mid-1980s.
Prinzi served as cinematographer on 44 episodes of the series Northern Exposure (1991–1993) and won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Cinematography for a Series in 1992. He has also been director of photography on episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, The Blacklist and films including Living in Oblivion (1995) and The Virtuoso (2021). As a director he has worked on episodes of Northern Exposure, Law & Order: Criminal Intent (34 episodes) and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
