Biography
Fred Goss is an American television director, actor, writer, producer and comedian. Born on 25 March 1961 in Orchard Lake, Michigan, he began acting in regional theatre at the age of fourteen and appeared in more than seventy-five stage productions before turning thirty. He later performed with improvisation groups at The Comedy Store in Hollywood and wrote sketch comedy.
Goss created the ABC sitcom Sons & Daughters (2006), on which he also acted, wrote and directed multiple episodes. He has directed episodes of numerous comedy series, including Community (2011), Modern Family (2013), New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Happy Endings, Life in Pieces and The Crazy Ones.
