Biography
Garcelle Beauvais is a Haitian-American actress and former model. She was born on 26 November 1966 in Saint-Marc, Haiti, and moved to the United States at the age of seven.
Beauvais began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in the 1980s. She appeared in Coming to America (1988) and gained prominence with recurring roles in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and a main role as Francesca "Fancy" Monroe in The Jamie Foxx Show (1996–2001). She later played Assistant District Attorney Valerie Heywood in NYPD Blue (2001–2004).
Her film credits include Wild Wild West (1999), Flight (2012), White House Down (2013), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and Coming 2 America (2021). She has also appeared in series such as Grimm, Siren and The Mentalist.
