Biography

Geoff Alexander, also credited as Geoffrey Alexander, is a British composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor. He has worked in film and television music for over three decades, with additional credits in theatre, concert works and video games.

He has maintained long collaborations with composers including George Fenton, Trevor Jones, Patrick Doyle and Richard Robbins. His credits as orchestrator or conductor include The Remains of the Day (1993), The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003), Gravity (2013), Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) and Paddington 2 (2017). As a composer he has scored features such as Merci Docteur Rey (2002) and several short films.

Alexander was born in 1967.
