Biography
Geoff Johns is an American comic book writer, screenwriter and producer. Born on 25 January 1973 in Detroit, Michigan, he studied media arts, screenwriting, film production and film theory at Michigan State University. After moving to Los Angeles he worked as an assistant to film director Richard Donner before beginning his comics career with DC Comics.
Johns is known for his work on numerous DC titles including JSA, Green Lantern, The Flash, Teen Titans and Infinite Crisis. In television he has written episodes of Smallville (2001), including the 2009 episode 'Legion', as well as episodes of Arrow and The Flash. He co-created the series Stargirl (2020) and has contributed to films such as Aquaman (2018) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020).
