Biography
Gilbert M. Shilton (also credited as Gilbert Shilton) is an American television director, producer and writer. He was born on 21 May 1945 in Houston, Texas.
Shilton began directing episodic television in the late 1970s and has worked on numerous series. His credits include episodes of Magnum, P.I. (1982), Knight Rider (1982), The A-Team (1983), V (1984–1985), MacGyver (1985), Quantum Leap (1989–1990), Law & Order (1992–1993), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1993–1997), Due South (1996), Xena: Warrior Princess (1997) and First Wave (1998–2000). He has also directed television films and written for series including Danger Bay and The Lost World.
