Biography
Guy Boyd is an American actor born on 15 April 1943 in Du Quoin, Illinois. He began his career as a stage actor in Off-Broadway and Broadway productions in the 1970s and has appeared in more than 150 stage and screen roles since the late 1970s.
Boyd is known for character parts in film and television. He shared the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the 1983 Venice Film Festival for his role in Robert Altman's Streamers. Other credits include Body Double (1984), Foxcatcher (2014) as Henry Beck, and I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020). He had a regular role in the series Black Scorpion and has made numerous guest appearances, including on Miami Vice.
His son John Boyd is also an actor.
