Biography
Harold Schneider was an American film producer and assistant director. He began his career in television and moved into feature films as an associate producer on Five Easy Pieces (1970) and The Last Picture Show (1971), working alongside his brother Bert Schneider.
He produced Days of Heaven (1978), WarGames (1983), Black Widow (1987) and Someone to Watch Over Me (1987). Schneider also served as co-producer on Hoffa (1992) and produced Jack Nicholson’s directorial efforts Goin’ South (1978) and The Two Jakes (1990). He died on 4 February 1994 in Ojai, California.
