Biography
Hemky Madera is an American actor. He was born on 26 January 1977 in Queens, New York. He began his career in Dominican Republic television, taking leading roles in the mini-series En La Olla and Trio en Alta Mar, both directed by Alfonso Rodríguez as part of Grandes Series Dominicanas.
After returning to the United States, Madera appeared in films including Dreaming of Julia (2003), The Lost City (2005), Rango (2011) as the voice of Chorizo, La La Land (2016) and Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) as Mr. Delmar. On television he has played recurring roles in Weeds, The Good Doctor (2017) as Santiago, The Mandalorian (2019) as a warlord, and Kaleidoscope (2023) as Carlos. He reprised the warlord role as Commander Baro in the film The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026).
