Biography
Hunter M. Via is an American film and television editor. He was born on 2 May 1976 in Charleston, West Virginia, and graduated from Full Sail University's film programme in 2000.
Via began his career through the American Cinema Editors internship programme and worked as an assistant editor on The Shield. He has edited episodes of Torchwood (2011) and Sons of Anarchy (2008), as well as the feature film The Mist (2007). He has collaborated repeatedly with director Frank Darabont, including on The Walking Dead, for which he received an ACE Eddie Award in 2010 for Best Edited One-Hour Series for Commercial Television. Other credits include The 100, Preacher, Silo and Mayans M.C.
