Biography

Billy Gierhart, also credited as Bill Gierhart, is an American television director and former steadicam operator. He worked as a steadicam operator on series including Pacific Blue, Huff, Swingtown and The Shield before making his directorial debut on the latter show's penultimate episode, 'Possible Kill Screen', in 2008.

His directing credits include episodes of Lone Star, Terriers, The Chicago Code, Sons of Anarchy, Torchwood, Breakout Kings, The Walking Dead, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once Upon a Time, Justified, Timeless, S.W.A.T. and The Night Agent. He has also served as an executive producer on S.W.A.T.. He is married to Cherie Gierhart.
