Biography
James D. Parriott (born 14 November 1950) is an American television writer, director and producer. He created the series Voyagers! (1982), Misfits of Science (1985), Forever Knight (1992), The American Embassy (2002) and Defying Gravity (2009).
Parriott served as a writer on Grey's Anatomy (2005) and as writer and executive producer on Sons of Anarchy (2008). He has also worked on The Incredible Hulk (1977), The Bionic Woman (1976), Ugly Betty (2006) and Covert Affairs (2010). He received Writers Guild of America Awards in 2006 and 2007, and a Producers Guild of America Award in 2007.
