Biography
James D. Stern is an American film and Broadway producer. He founded Endgame Entertainment and has produced films including Looper (2012), Self/less (2015), Murder Mystery (2019) and Murder Mystery 2 (2023). He has also served as executive producer on titles such as Lord of War (2005) and Snowden (2016).
On stage, Stern produced the Tony Award-winning musicals The Producers (2001) and Hairspray (2003), for which he received a Tony Award. He has additional Broadway credits including Legally Blonde and Leap of Faith, and was a Drama Desk Award winner for Stomp. Stern holds a B.A. in directing from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
