Biography
James Lassiter is an American film producer. He attended the University of Miami and Temple University, and later became the manager and business partner of Will Smith. In 1998 the pair co-founded the production company Overbrook Entertainment.
Lassiter has produced or executive-produced numerous films, including I, Robot (2004), Hitch (2005), I Am Legend (2007), Hancock (2008), Seven Pounds (2008), The Karate Kid (2010), This Means War (2012), After Earth (2013), Annie (2014), King Richard (2021) and The Harder They Fall (2021). He has also served as executive producer on the series Cobra Kai.
