Biography
James Sloyan is an American actor. Born on 24 February 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and began his professional career with the New York Shakespeare Festival under Joseph Papp.
His film credits include The Sting (1973) and Xanadu (1980). He has made numerous guest appearances on television series including Wonder Woman, MacGyver, Quantum Leap, Beverly Hills, 90210, The X-Files, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager.
Sloyan is married to actress Deirdre Lenihan; their daughter Samantha Sloyan is also an actress. He has worked extensively as a voice actor, notably as the voice of Lexus in US advertising from 1989 to 2009.
